stats on the bugatti
The Bugatti EB 18/4 "Veyron" is powered by an 18-cylinder engine positioned as a mid-engine in front of the rear axle. Despite the number of cylinders, the drive unit developed by Volkswagen is exceptionally short. The key to the compact dimensions lies in the shape of the engine, in which three rows of cylinders are each arranged at a 60-degree angle to each other in a W form. The coupling of the three cylinder banks, each consisting of six cylinders, makes the engine not only compact, but also extremely quiet and smooth.
The 18-cylinder has a capacity of 6.3 litres. Each combustion chamber has four valves, meaning that a total of 72 valves regulate the gas exchange in the combustion chambers. The direct injection drive unit produces 408 kW/555 hp at 6800 rpm. The impressive power potential of the 18-cylinder engine is also reflected by its enormous maximum torque, which reaches 650 Newton metres at 4000 rpm.
Power is transmitted direct via hydraulic clutch operation to the gearbox. The gearbox casing of the rear axle is an integral part of the engine. A high-performance coolant cycle with two
three-stage water pumps ensures a balanced engine temperature. The electronic control of the engine is performed by a Master-Slave system with three independent six-cylinder systems coordinated by a main control unit.
The power of the 18-cylinder engine is transmitted to the wheels by four-wheel drive – a concept which guarantees perfect traction. The carbon-fibre body reduces weight and provides favourable aerodynamic characteristics.

Germany and Italy.......The countries of origin of the ONLY 2 ever produces Lotec C1000 race cars.
The german origin car had a Benz v8 (supercharged)
The Italy origin had a Ferrari v12 (supercharged)
These are AWESOME! And the cool thing is that the Benz powered one is owned by a Super Exotic dealership just down the road from my house!

Of course, you know you've made it in this world when you are the proud owner of this Russian communist beauty!
1984 LADA Station Wagon!
I remember my neigbour had one of those in the late 80's... and of you listened on a quiet night, you could hear it rust! And on a cold and damp morning, you could hear the engine crank forever... but not start!

Hands down, the nicest car to drive is a RUF TWIN TURBO R. Nothing can touch his cars. Porsche simply is the best engineered cars. My buddy owned one (it was on the cover of road and track for the world's greatest sports car) and nothing could touch his car, NOTHING. See, Ferraris' are nice, but can you drive a Ferarri everyday? Nope. Vipers? Rattling pieces of shit, that never can compete in any mag. contest becasue they are always over heating. PORSCHES are meant to be driven everyday. I've owned 2 of them, along with a DINAN M3. I've driven tons of fast cars from the new Mercedes SL55 AMG (490HP), Ferrari's, Porsche turbo's, etc... And hands down, PORSCHE IS STILL ON TOP!!!!

I'm gonna have to go with the Rover (Britain). I have grown up with a dad who is a car freak and has had or has one from every country. He drives his range rovers the most. He was a col. in the US marines, then retired and went straight to work for one of today's most ingenous men in the technology industry......now he is retired for good and cars make up a good part of his life. My pops has driven the REAL hummer all over the world on all sorts of terrrain. He has the Dutch's version of one , the Daft, from WW II. However, he loves his Range Rovers (he's got one '02 rhino special edition, his wife hauls kids around in a 2002 loaded, he's ordering a new one, he also has a Defender that he loves).
He's had several porsches over the years, rebuilt a few old ones, and he has one of those new twin turbo chayenes coming in. Gotta love the porsche.
Also love the Germans for Mercedes. Use to have a sweet 430 E sport in 97. I loved it. The G wagon is also awesome.
Had a BMW 5 series growing up and it was fun to drive but sucked because it was always breaking!
Pops has had lots of good ole' US muscle cars over the years for fun. He loves his Dodge duelly....that thing is a workhorse. How about bikes...do they count?? Well gotta go with the USA for that it's Harley for sure! We have new ones, old ones, custom ones, etc.
Of course the Asian auto makers have their fair share of well built technology. My mom has a Lexus SUV and I have a new Acura SUV. They both are luxery SUV's that will take a licken and keep on ticken. My bro and dad have old Landcruisers that they rebuilt, which are still tuff as nails.
OK...bored yet?? Sorry, this is what I do when I can't sleep!! I'm getting tired....good thing for you!
