    Computer Problem!

I don't know what kind Trojen I got but I can't type in any urls into the address box...When I do it brings me to this www.seach.cc it's some kind of search page. And I can't reset my homepage at all when I do it resets it that searchpage.
The only websites I can go to with out any problem is websites on my fav's list.
My anti virus isn't picking up anything and I did a spybot check and It didn't find anything either.
Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to get rid of this?

I'm downloading addware right now but I don't know if it's gonna work.
I can go to webpages that come up in search that i do from the top of the browser...other then that when I type in a url of a website it redirects me to that search page.

MBaraso, I had the same thing and it was a bitch to get rid of...

If i remember right i had to run ad-aware and spysweeper, i can't

remember which one worked, but one of them couldn't remove it...

Also had to do a complete restore on the PC because it seriously

    screwed some **** up...

Yeah I think i'm gonna have to do a complete restore. I don't wanna do that but it looks like that's the only thing that's gonna help.
Adware found alot of things but it didn't solve the problem. Spybot found nothing and neither did my norton anti v.
    Anyone else have any ideas?

I got rid of it with spysweeper... just keep it up to date... although like many others stated, I feel reformatting your pc is always a good idea... It's nice to have a fresh install every once in awhile.

wow............ i've got 64 banks that we run Norton in........

no problems at all...... has to do with actually updating the definitions as often as every 45 minutes,

and the worms don't hit us either......... but that's another story.......
