You like your City?
I started this over in the "50-60K" thread, but didn't want to hijack...
I live in San Diego... I think this city is the sh!t. I can see myself living here my entire life, and eventually dying here. The weather is great, the crime is low, and Mexico is 20 minutes away.
Does anyone else feel this kind of attachment to the city they live in?

kay i always wanted to know is San Jose and San Deigo the same thing?

NOOOOOO.... San Jose is up north, the heart of Silicon Valley.
San Diego is up against the Mexican Border, heart of the "Whoa Dude" surfer style.
Very different cities, different mindsets. Both are great cities, but different in their own way.

I kinda figured. I wouldnt have heard of san jose if it wasnt for the hockey team anyways (yes im canadian).
anyways my new city is b!tchin I guess compared to where I came from. more women, better women, hotter women. yeah thats about the only reason why i like it more....

i live in central MN and love it here, wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Very different mindset in MN that anywhere else I have been and I travel quite a bit. Everyone here is into outdoor stuff, camping, hiking, boating, fishing, water-skiing etc.. And in the winter... fishing, snowmobiling, skiiing, hockey, etc. All about enjoying the outdoors and having outdoor toys!

Florida??!?!?!? OK, keep your muggy ass air and old ****ing women with the sagging tits. Less traffic here in San Diego if you all stay there.

Buahaha... in San Diego, the old people all move to Palm Springs... far enough inland that we never see them again.

I'd move to Eureka Springs if I wasn't so outspoken . . . they got laws there in Arkansas against blasphemy, and KKK'ers well versed in vigilante justice. Ya, I wouldn't last too long in them there parts. Beautiful place, though.
Dallas is ok . . . not too cold in the winter (no snow to shovel), bearable in the summer, lots of everything to do, live near a nice lake (nicest spot in all of North Texas), and the city folks sure beat most of the suburbanites.
It ain't Hawaii, but it ain't Oklahoma, either . . .

I've lived in the Chicago area most of my life and am bored to tears with it. The weather sucks, at least during winter, and then we have construction season. As soon as I can swing it, I'm heading out to Los Angeles.

Dublin, Ireland here. But you don't have to just live in Dublin to love the place. Friendliest people in the world, best beer by far and its so small you can't drive in a straight line for more than 2 hours before hitting unanother coast. Weather is alittle wet most of the year, but we hardly ever get snow.
Unfortunetly we're suffering an African refugee problem, ripping off our generous social welfare system but a hard winter should hopefully kill off THAT problem, they don't like the cold, lol...

I have no complaints about Houston.. I have a great time here. I travel a lot for work so I have been all over the US and there are a lot of nice cities. in fact theres only two places I really fuking hate to go to... but I won't name them out of respect for my bros that are unfortunate enough to live there....

I live in milwaukee. Its a fairly cheap place to live. The drinking here is pretty wild and you can find some cool people. The weather FCKIN SUCKS though. I no longer ice fish or snowmobile since im always studying or working. I usually only get a chance to bowhunt early season so the weather is decent then. There is no benefit I can see for cold weather. After college, weather will be on the top of my list for where I move too.
