Just curious, I spent almost $500 bucks on mine. Gonna be a blast, I got some family up from cali and fireworks are illegal there so I thought I'd show them what the 4th is really about!!!
Now just to see how much we spend on booze, lol.

I baught 20 quarter sticks for 100 bucks this year which is really good b/c usually Ill pay 70 for only 10 m-80's
Spent over a grand last year but I was diagnosed with stage III lymphoma and thought it might be my last. Thankfully it turned out to be some fluke, not cancer. But the 4th was a blast!
I wait till after the 4th and get it all 75-90% off
Our fireworks suck in Canada. No M-80's, no firecrackers, etc. We have the lame basics. :(
sparklers and bottle rockets for MBH. watch out for him . haha
HAHA...can't even get bottle rockets in Canada. Wish I could...I used to love those things!Quote:

I only buy the good stuff... Snakes and Sparklers. Gotta love Joe Dirt. For those of you who live in the great white north try this for your M80 fix. Get some dry ice, put a bit in the bottom of any round container, preferably plastic (never tried glass might be too dangerous) dump a little water in it, put the lid on it and get the hell out of there. Those suckers are loud. I never tried to blow anything up with one, but I bet it would. Mark
I work in the US all the time!!!! I wish I could somehow get them back here.Quote:

No, MBH I never have. I do miss my potato cannon now though. Mark
I dont buy anything really anymore, i make my own festival balls, floral shells, large "firecrackers", its been a hobby of mine for a while now...
In Illinois we cant have anything that leaves the ground or explodes. So its snakes and sparklers, all cuz of Chicago n suburbs. The rest of the state is farms and good ol' boys never meanin no harm... So today we took a carload of dudes to Indiana and came back w/ $200 worth of 7 bags of the good $hit. We also needa get potatoes for our cannons.
