I think you should include your own body weight also to make it alittle more fair...

anyways most I ever did was 405 for 4 at 200lbs body weight. Legs were always lagging behind for me then my back spasms didnt make it any easier

did anyone notice that at the end of the interview the guy said he hated the way he looked? is this normal with most powerlifters and do they just do it because it generally a lot easier to just put up heavyweights than perfect a physique....just something i thought of when one of the strongest men in the world said he hated the way he looked.

I would say it is not the norm. However, I am sure just as many BB's are not happy with the way they look either.

There are a lot of fat Powerlifters but they are becoming extinct IMO.

Look at two of the best Bench Press guys in the world. Mendelson and Kennely, neither is fat at all.

I don't squat. It's to much of a pain in the ass. Maybe in a few months I will start again.

    I don't squat.........

anymore anyhow unless it's the smith machine or angled smith for sissy type squats. I was forced into leg presses, hacks, lunges, extensions, sissies, and my legs got to look better than ever. Squatting gave me a sore lower back and sore knees.

My best squat was a few years back at 495 for 2...on the second rep I ruptured a disc and really haven't been right since...now I keep my range from 300-400 depending on whether it's high or low reps.....and I'm old,so I have an excuse.

last week i did 405 for 4 reps.....i've had knee surgery so that was the only time....just wanted to see if i could and it wasn't too bad.....

usually i only do 315 in my workouts.....i just go deeper in my squat and push the weight up with my heels....i've also had back problems from playing football so i'm not looking to hurt myself.....

oh yeah i'm 6'1" and as of monday am 216lbs....

At a bookstore the other day, I saw a book entitled "Sex for Dummies." Why would someone want to teach dumb people how to reproduce? Aren't there enough of them now?

Last summer I was doing 405*6 at 192lbs. I have not squatted heavy in quite some time due to low back pain and sore knees....not to mention hearing what happened to SC.
