Just to make a little more room I drive with both feet hanging out the window....one of my other buddies works the brakes and gas. hahahahahaahahahahahahaha

M3 yes!!!!!!! What a sweet car. If youre buying a new one i'd wait a year bro. They are about to get played out in a second. The bodystyle is 7 years old and a new one is about to come out and will be basically the same price. You dont wannt be the guy who paid 60K for a car thats gonna be played out very very soon.

Anyone here have the new honda accord coupe?

    Yes it's a 400 from a 68 GTO

HP is a little over 400, TH-400 w/ B&M Shift Kit, 3800 Stall Speed Converter, 4:10 10bolt rear........ will be replacing the rear with a full spool, axels, and c-clip elimanators........ best run on slicks is 11.96......... consistant low 12's

it's pretty much stock and it's a 3700lb car so I'm happy with the numbers........ Eventually I would like to take a crank from a 455 and re do the motor...... Hopeing for High 10's low 11's

    Nice bro...
Those are some impressive times for a lil over 400 hp...and 3700lbs...
    That rear must really bite...

The longer stroke/extra inches will be an awesome addition to raise the low-end torque, and will help 'motivate' the old Goat a lil more ...
Do u ever drive it on the street? If so, a car running 10s/ low 11s on the street is a rarity....especially without running

Thanks........ It's not my doing....... My buddy got the car to run this way..... he has been working in his father's shop since he was 13 and he loves Pontiacs.... He has a high 10 second 68 GTO running a 400 no NOS and not blown. It's all in the setup....... big motors, rears....... mean nothing if they aren't matched corectly

I use to drive it on the street a few years ago but it doesn't run well on pump gas....... pings bad. I was thinking of putting it on the street this summer before I put the spool in it....... after the spool is in it will not be streetable (too much hop around corners)

Pontiac's are torqie enough so it will be sick after the new crank and the motor is re-done....... I just have to save up the $$$$$$ to do it.

    Believe me I hear ya...
    We ran a 27 ford roadster with a 496, N/A, and made over 800 hp......ran a 5.50 in the 1/8th..
What is the compression ratio? 11:1? My truck's 355 is 10.4 with iron Vortec heads, and barely gets by detonation on 94 octane... lol...
Come on now, don't you love spools on the street? Seemingly not much better than a welded rear ...
