The 80's were very sweet, tho I was a wee youngster of 1984, I had thundercats. I would say my fav decade to be the 40's. WWII was the single most important event of the 20th century. Got us out of the depression, stopped nazis and jap empire, revolutionized American industry, got women in the workplace (which has its +'s and -'s jk) proved the US to be a world super power, and made for all sorts of sweet shows on history channel and movies.

I do got to say, 91 was the best year ever for me. I was 17, I left home to be a drug dealer. I was staying in nice ass hotels everynight, I was in love and had a couple of bad ass side things, had a hooked up lowered S10 with a banging ass system and no insurance. Everyone knew who I was, life was like a big ass party. Then came April of 1992. The party ended and the next four years I was just a number doing push-ups and playing cards.

The 70's, but not the lame disco 70's. The cool ass rocking 70's. See Dazed and Confused for reference.

I was born in 81 but I remember the 80s well and they were rad. I wasnt around in the 70s but I bet I would have loved them if they were anything like I picture them. All the best music came from the 70s and 80s.

I think it woulda been cool to see what the 70's was like, but I graduated highschool in '01, so those couple years before that were my favorite. In a place (school) where you see your friends and females every day, and i was under the age of 18 so i could get away with whatever the fck I wanted to and didnt have to worry about spending time in jail, maybe just alittle while in some weak detention center.

I have to say the 70's for the best of both worlds

There was still great rock music from the 60's, and less great music emerging (Disco)

People partied hard and had very few worries, reaping the benefits of the sexual revolution but none of the worries of **** like AIDS or getting caught driving drunk.

The 70's was a careless "having fun" decade.

I graduated HS in '86 and those years should be incinerated! Anyone remember the whole "Preppy" scene, pink aligator shirts, expensive clothes, big hair, bands like Wham and Duran & Duran... fortunately I was not part of that scene... I was a greasy rocker, torn jeans, long hair, steel toed workboots, into The Who, KISS, Maiden, the Priest...
