It says once u do that and connect ur ipod it will automatically upload the music to the ipod. Well, lastnight i set it up and went to sleep. When i woke up it still said "do not disconnect." What am i doing wrong?? thxs in advance for ur help!!

scott, you need to format it first before anything can be transferred.

i had the same problem with mine when i first got it.

read up on how to reset it and then it should work.

I also have an iPod. I have the 15gig but the same instructions apply. If you have more than 4 gigs of music you can select which play lists or tracks are synched to the iPod. In iTunes, bottom right of the window, when your iPod is connected you'll see an icon that looks like an iPod. Click there and you can go down a list and select which tracks are synched.

IM me on AIM if you need more help.
