Tim Horton's is a large Canadian franchised coffee shop that serves largely Coffee, Tea, Bagels, Donuts and Soups.

It's actually very popular and the waiting list to open a franchise is 10 years!

I prefer their Tea though, 2 milk/2 sugar.

    This is about COFFEE??????

Crap.........a "double double" that is of the "large" variety sounds like some bomby @$$ cheeseburger from burger heaven or something, with all the fixins, fries, etc.......

    This is about freakin' java?

    Disappointed!

Well there's no 10 year waiting list but it is near impossible to get a franchise. You need a 1/4 mill start up deposit and pay for all the turn key costs. Thats if you meet their 'criteria'. I knew a guy that's pretty well off, had all the money in place and still got turned down for no reason.

But have to agree with MBH, Tim's is king!

if you live out east then yeah its extreamly hard to get a franchise especially if the store is already in place. you need a ****load of money to start up but its worth it. when I worked there the owners told me they would clear 300k a year after ALL deductions once they paid for the place in full (which only takes 4 or 5 years).

If you have his rookie card I will buy it from you...
He was a defenceman for the Leafs, and a phenomenal one at that

I just saw one of his cards go for $1998...

He made numerous all-star teams, and won many cups with teh Leafs, all the while plagued with harsh injuries...

    IMO he was great.

Well, you guys are going to brand me a heretic, but I do not like tims coffee...

I think it's nasty and bitter. The whole point of the "double double" is to drown the nasty coffee in cream and a ton of sugar to make it palatable...

Tims does make a decent sandwitch though... I usually have it with milk or juice.

Judging from the stance of your fellow Candian brothers here Red you might want to go ahead and start packing to move to the states. We've Krispy Kreems (sp) here if you need a good donut fix. hahahahaha
