    Preseason Predictions

I like the CHIEFS being from Kansas City.
Priest is 100% for the first time in 2 years.
We got Gunther Back for the D and Junior Sivaii is a fukn Beast.
Trent is 100% and had the 2nd best passer rating next to Peyton last year.
Tony G. is a work horse and putting basketball behind him he says hes ready for the superbowl.
Sammie Parker runs a 4.35 and is about to sign a contract.
We had a poor defensive line last year but a few key additions and we are sitting pretty.
Combined we had the #1 defensive backfield with tackles and interceptions.
The D got the ball back for the O 39 times the most since Deron Cherry dominated teams.

What are YOUR thoughts on the up and coming season.

the fins are screwed so my Jets should take second in the AFC east with a 9-7, 10-6 type record. they will be on the bubble till the last week of the season. There prob gonna be a team that on the last week they need the raiders to win and buffalo to lose and new england to tie lol.....

My boys are the beloved Bears, but who knows with them. I am seeing a 9-7 year. Maybe better if Thomas Jones can be the back everybody thought he would be.

Yea that is if Ray Ray dosent put T.O. out for the season. In a Baltimore Newspaper they have Ray saying if he gets a chance to hit em' he's gonna put his lights out. He's not happy and frankly I could care less if he gets ass raped by that Neanderthal JMO

And how often is Ray going to go into deep coverage? T.O. doesn't come across the middle. That's just a bunch of BS talk from a guy on a $hitty team.

If Baltimore is your team, cool, I don't want to slam them. I just don't like them as a team. I think they've been overachieving the last few years. But with the state the NFL is in, any team can be successful. That's why parity is good.

But seriously, Ray won't be within 10 yards of T.O. If the Ravens actually send their MLB in deep coverage, then Donavan will run for an easy 20 yards. Or maybe T.O. will just flat out beat Ray and score a TD. I think Ray's an awesome player, but he's just talking smack.

Urlacher will look better this year because he is in a better system. Last year the Bears were trying to use a system with the wrong personnel. With the 2 fat men in the middle, the system worked great, but sucked without them. This year it is about speed. They will surprise a lot of people.

1 day till camp! Go Bears

And yes Max, the fins are SCREWED! Ricky left to go smoke weed in Asia

Noob, the Bears were very active in FA. No block busters, but filled a lot of holes.

They don't have a whole lot of names and no I don't realy expect them to go all the way. I do expext them to do better than they have in years. The team itself has the will to win. Thats more than most teams with great players.

true the eagles did improve in a few areas that they needed mainly wide reciever but they did let duece staley get away so that will put more pressure on donavan and T.O. to get the job done. And i think teams that play them will just take T.O. out the game,no you can't take him completely out the game because he is that good, but if you blanket his ass you will get him frustrated because of his attitude and he will take his self out the game.As for as Ray Lewis goes i think he is good but also one of the most overated players in the leage,i don't even think he is in the top three linebackers playing now much less of alltime as he is sometimes referred to.He just talks a lot of **** and gets publicity just like warren sapp (overpayed)I personally am i Steeler fan die Hard since the 70's hopefully they will get back to the top where they belong.

I say top 3 easy. 1.Lawrence Taylor 2.Ray Lewis 3. Tommy Nobis 4. Dick Butkus 5. Joe Green
    Honerable Mention among active players.
    1. Brian Urlacher, CHI
    2. Jamie Sharper, HOU
    3. Donnie Edwards, SD
    4. Keith Brooking, ATL
    5. Derrick Brooks, TB
    6. Zach Thomas, MIA
    7. London Fletcher, BUF
    8. Keith Bulluck, TEN
    9. Al Wilson, DEN

You might not see it this way but this IMO is the greatest list of all. Linebackers are as fast as tailbacks, have the eyesight of Ali and can take on a fukn train.

Thomas Jones is in Excellent back IMO. I think he is finished beating on his wife so it should work out well for the bears. Running behind Tate I wouldnt be surprised if he is among the most productive in the leauge. I like him alot for this year

we have a decent group of recievers, just signed curtis conway, but no o line and a weak secondary is going to be rough, if our o line stays healthy, we might be alright, just hope rattay can fill garcia's shoes

Too bad the Packers own the Bears. Chicago might as well not show up against GB in the Favre era. GB is going to the superbowl. Please note that I say this every year. Mark

Noob, I hope you are right bro. I like Jones too, and he is strikingly similar to the early years of your boy Priest Holmes. In fact, the year before Priest broke out his stat line was (in 1999) 137car/588yds/4.3yds per carry/2 TD

Last year, T. Jones 137car/627yds/4.6 yds per carry/3 TD

Not trying to compare the quality of Jones to Holmes, but hopefully he will break out this year like Holmes did in 2000. Interesting stats nonetheless.
