Budd Dwyer was a Pennsylvania politician that was facing a long prison sentence and decided he didnt want to deal with it anymore, so he called a press conference. I saw this live in the 6th Grade.

Loz, I remeber this I was living in Mt Laurel, NJ and saw this live! He was imbezzeling $$$ right? What a grandstanding piece of shiat, his ego must have still been in tact when he pulled the trigger, why else the show? Poor me, look at me he took the easy way out!

I was a little kid I just remember seeing it live on channel 6 and there was all kinds of grief on why they didnt censor it when he pulled out the gun.

It wasnt as horrid but it was as graphic. I think more graphic.

Well im sure it had a greater impact on you since you saw that when you were a small boy, but to me getting your head sawed off is a little more graphic than shooting yourself in the head.

Yeah but you cant see to much on the Berg video because it is so dark. This was clear, the back of his head blowing off, the blood pouring out of it afterwards.

Having your head hacked off is way more sick and horrid, I am just saying the video wasn't as graphic and clear as this one.

Yeah it was surreal, he started talking anxiously and whipped out a paper bag, out came the gun and BAM! I remember thinking what an a-hole, what a selfish s.o.b. he already drug his family trough the scandal then he had to shame them with that.
