mini, the reg isn't worth the money imo. its jus for music, u don't really need more then a couple hours of music anyway. sav the money and go with the mini. put the rest towards a cycle

was it too large and did it take up too much space?
Also does the i pod come with any kind of attatchments like a clip etc? I have seen that for the mini you can get a strap to wear it on your arm etc. I know that with my minidisc it gor routeinly crushed when it was in my pocket.

Get the regular. I don't regret my choice, I like having my entire collection with me. I never know what I'm in the mood for. The mini also looks a little too trendy/fruity for me.

ya, go with the regular. compare money to memory and you will realize the mini is a ripoff. plus, like rambo said, you can carry your whole music collection with you.

It was too large IMO. It was a pain when it was in my pocket and I was doing dumbells. I had the 10 gig one and it didnt come with a holder that you could clip on, but you can buy them for extra. That was a year ago though so things might have changed

my minidisc lost the ability to record then recharge, then the headphones broke then the playback started skipping even when i wasnt moving. 2 months with only the ****ty radio in the gym. I cant wait to workout to some decent music rather then ****ty dido and brittany spears!

bah, they dont come with remotes anymore! Can you change track on the remotes or only play pause, fastforward and stop?

Hey bro, i have the mini and love it. I can get 700 songs on it and the battery lasts for 4 hours. Cant imagine needing more then that. I also got the FM tuner for the car. Works great!

The mini is $250 and is 4 gigs. For $50 more $299 you get 20 gigs, 5 times the space of the mini. The mini is smaller in dimensions, but not that much smaller than the 20 gig. The mini is "cute" and comes in multiple colors. The 20 gig only comes in white. Both have the same menu system.

Go with the $299 20 gig and get your money's worth.

It also depends on your music library. If you have barely enough mp3s to fill the 4 gig, you can go with the mini. But me personally, even if I only had 2 gigs worth of music I would still get the larger 20 gig iPod. I just like the idea that for $50 more I get 5 times the space.

I have a 15 gig iPod and I bought a 3rd party case. I take it with me every where.

I got a 10 gig ipod and love it. It is bigger than my tiny 128meg solid state mp3 player, but I just throw it in my fanny pack and I've got tons and tons of music.

It's really not that big, smaller than my old mp3 cd player and the batteries last like 8 hours.

I don't know if that engraving will make it a collectable or not.

I left mine blank because I plan to ebay it when it's time to upgrade to a bigger iPod. My old one I sold on ebay for $200 and I paid $99 to buy my new one.
