    Every time one of these storms comes through the f*****G television news goes on this 24 hour panic attack. It gets old after you have lived here for a while. I would say that people in Miami take it seriously after Andrew but the rest of the state is like, not another false alarm! Anyway, glad you changed your avatar back mass.

    I lived in West Palm in 1980 and we got hit with a good one! My dad has been sober for 18 yrs but back then whew!     There are 2 of dem suckers coming our way. I remember before hurricane Andrew hit us they said ohh dont worry its going to hit up north....Ya right!! That sucker came right down my street...I was without power and water for 3 weeks.....errrrrr I dont want to go threw that again...

    nah it slowed up a bit, winds are at 109, the local weather channel said it came down to a category 2, once it came off the coast.
