the batting cage...
Is some excellent therapy....however, take my advice and plan ahead.
Headed to the cage on Sunday to work off some stress, hadn't touched a bat in over 7 years...figured it was time. Planned on 20 pitches or so...so I didn't bring batting gloves or my normal bat...hardly normal anymore after 7 years.
150 pitches later, bleedin on the bat and getting kinda addicted to the feeling, I walked away. Hands are sore as hell today and my right hand has some serious issues...the blisters on the left hand are tolerable.
Forgotten how good it felt to take some pitches...hopefully the swelling and pain goes down in my right hand to I can hit it again next weekend.....with batting gloves and my own bat this time

Oh man, I did that on my lunch hour when I used to work @ the University I went to school at. When I went back to work, I was totally unproductive the rest of the day. The parts between the thumb and fingers in the palm area were raw...............nasty stuff.........but I couldn't stop swinging, .
