I suggest some cox3 inhibitor, like Vioxx. I prescribe this to my patients and it helps a lot; swelling goes away faster, the pain and stiffness also. So do you have any visible hematoma?

Naproxen is not inflamation specific for soft tissues (muscle, tendon etc.), Vioxx is.
Anyway, I'm ph. ther., not fat and bald but hairy and big , and I can imagine poor guy massageing your adductors. Not the easiest job on earth.
tendon injury=very bad
muscle-tendon junction injury=a little better
Keep iceing the injured area, and after a week add some more stretching and, if there is no pain, some light adductor exercises to keep the blood flowing.
Good luck, man.
