I guess it's a mile stone...
...when the people at work start asking too many questions.
I'm usually away from the office, dealing with clients and doing my calcs and plan reviews at home.
I hadn't seen many people in my region for several months. Some I haven't seen for close to a year. Most of the people in my position are about 10-15 years older than I--very conservative. Most have let their bodies go.
I was out at a company function today. And this is what I got:
"You're pumped up." Um..thank you.
"You're gettin' huge." Smile...thank you.
"You're takin' any supplements?? Creatine??" No creatine--just protein supplements (shakes), amino acids and vitamins. Eating a lot too.
"Man...you're getting really big--you weren't that big last time. You're hitting the weights?" Thanks...smile...Yes....I'm trying to get bigger.
"So...what 'supplements' are you taking??" Protein, amino acids and vitamins. "That's it?" Yep...and eating a lot. "Well...you were really thin before, weren't you?? Hey Dave, wasn't [BASK8KACE] much smaller when we saw him before?!" Yepper. I was.
It went on like this for 20 minutes! People asking me what I was eating, supplements, etcetera.
It felt good--but it reached a point where I thought, "Wait till they see me NEXT year." I know it's gonna turn into major suspicion then.
