Doctor Did Not want to check Test Levels

I just got back from the doc who gave me a physical and I had blod work done. I asked him to test the following and he asked me a million questions about why I wanted my test levels checked. So finally I said I took pro hormones and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. He then went on how bad the are for you etc... Any of you had the same problem?

Hormones:
Testosterone
Free testosterone
IGF-1 Estradiol
DHEA/DHEA-s
Full thyroid panel

cardiovascular risk:
Total cholesterol
LDL
HDL
Triglycerides
C-reactive protein
Homocysteine

Liver:
alkaline phosphatase
GGT
SGOT
SGPT

Kidney:
creatinine
BUN
creatnine/BUN ratio

I've been wanting to. Did your doctor agree to do the tests? If you are having that much trouble getting him to work with you, find another doctor.

Regardless of the money, if your doctor doesn't discuss things with you in a normal manor, ditch him.

The doc did test for my free test and test levels, He gave me a long lecture on how bad pro hormones are and also why I should not take creatine. He also said I should eat .5 to .75 g of protein per lb of body weight. I told him I was at 2g per lb of body weight.

no my doc knowsi juice..
