Many ways to cut the cost on the subscription.You can go to most financial sites and they offer WSJ for a 2-3 week free trial period.Then the subscription is usually discounted as well.
Do you find it neccesary to read yesterdays news?You can watch 20 mins of CNBC and get the same thing.IMO,waste of money unless you need it for school research.Plus there are a zillion free sites to research stocks and even create paper portfolios.
Thanks for your .02 DB, appreciate it. I wish i had cable at my place, but i dont, and the local news in my town is awful. I also just want to be more well versed in finance and wouldnt hurt for school either :)
