For their PWO shake, what did guys like Serge Nubret, Frank Zane & Dave Draper take? I'm not sure if the Dextrose / Whey combo was known back then. But they must have had some kind of fast-acting carb with protein right?

Probably just food. They had protein powders back then, but they were made of sh!tty soy flour.
