    Back to school motivation???

Well im back at school, just started the 2nd week. So far studying as been poor, especially since on average students here study 3-5hrs a day. I used to do that, but over the past year and a half, it gets less and less, especially after summer.

I started off the summer great, finishing up my weight loss goals and working to save money for school. Then once I hit the one month till school starts mark, it all fell apart. I was sick of the whole dieting/working out thing, I was pissed that everyone was partying except me and I used to be one of the biggest partiers in my little clique, and I knew I wouldnt be refreshed once school starts, SO I embarked on some hearty partying. In the month of august there were probably no more than 3 days in which I didnt do some kind of hardcore drinking/partying/other stuff.

Needless to say, I was excited for school to start so I can get back in that rhythm of having a set daily plan of school, studying, working out, cleaning because I used to be pretty anal about all that stuff. Thing is, its just not there anymore.

SO, im tryin to find ways for me to get my studying done right away that way after school so I can possibly go out still if it comes up.

    Im lookin for any tips/tricks???
Do most of you students who live off campus stay on campus to study and lift??

Do you find it better to study with others???

Study first and lift after, or the other way around??

Things like this to make it easier

I live bout 20min away from campus and I only work long weekends since I go to school full time mon-fri.

Thanks for any help on the motivation,

    -ost

I suggest lift at 6 am. your testosterone is the highest in the morning. Then eat and think hard. I work construction 40 hrs a week, lift and study paralegal

Nice thought, but I go to an engineering school where the most daring thing most students try, is clicking on one of those porno pop-ups after a grueling 24hrs playing command and conquer online.

i'm going through the same thing bro.. and i used to be the exact same way you were talking about.. i loved having a set schedule for everything, never missed a training day, and i was always up on my classes.... but since school has started this semester, i feel like ive lost most all of my motivation...
i've tried kicking my self into gear, but its just not comming back like i had hoped. i havent taken any real time off other than going home for 2 weeks just to visit and relax.. i think i'm just burnt out- and maybe you are too...
i'm just going to try and slowly get back into the groove of things instead of beating myself up for maybe slacking a little bit.....
but, if things keep going this way- its going to be a looooong semester..... i only hope it doesnt hurt my 3.8 gpa
    good luck.......
