This thing is sooo friggin big! The funny thing is we used to have an International garbage truck when i had my company...And now their making pickups...lol

Indeed, it's a DT466 turbo diesel engine
We have a fleet of over 20 of those here configured as 4 ton and 6 ton capacity dump trucks with a DT466 under the hood and trust me... the torque they put out is more than adequate.
It may not outspeed a vette or a stang, but with that much torque on 4x4 it'll climb the side of your house without effort, and pull up the neigbours house on it's shoulders. :)
