Bad News for German Bros lol...

    Sup bros...

I recently received the opportunity to go overseas this coming winter semester to work for a BMW design team, as part of my Engineering program.....

As for now, I will be leaving in early January for Germany, and will return in late April, spending my four months there....

I'm a little hesitant to be honest... because I don't know the language, and will be expected to write/speak it fairly fluently once over there.... currently I am in an Intro to German night course, trying to prepare... anyone fluent in the language?

once you are there you will pick up on the basics quick, its easier to learn a language when someone is actually doing what they are saying.

I received some great advice from some bros on another board, and they convinced me that I should go... I'm actually a lil anxious to see what it is really like.. I wanna check out the fraulines hahh

Of all the languages I've been exposed to, I found German the easiest to learn. I lived in Munich for 3 yrs and loved it. Your obviously going to need a bit more technical in your language however.

Enjoy Germany. I miss that place.

    3. NO, PULLING out IS NOT a RELIABLE method of Birth Control. DAMMMMIT..... Wrap that shyte UP!!

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

For sure... that is what I am most-concerned about... I have already picked up alot of the BS convo... but need to improve greatly... luckily they say that English is similar to German, much like the Spanish-French comparison...

Munich huh? I don't believe you ... re: lack of 'beer belly'

You're right I lied. I was in Munich for a year and half and then they closed McGraw Kaserna (the base) and Perlacher Forest (our housing area) and I moved to Bad Aibling. That station is still there and always the subject of great controversy. Der Speigle runs stories about the "spies" all the time and the facility is blamed for the high miscarriage levels in that area.

No beer gut...that's cause I can't STAND beer. YUCK. I did get hooked on wine there. I do miss the hendles (very salty, greasy roasted chicken).

    Ohhhh the memories.
