Mount Saint Helens is erupting again

No links. Watching it on TV right now. They're saying it's a small eruption so far.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free". Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage, why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire Pig, just to get a little sausage.

Here's a link to the local news station:

There has been some lava and a second steam and ash eruption. So far it's all pretty small scale, nothing like 1980.

Seriously, wtf is up with all the natural disasters recently??? Freaking hurricanes (multiple!) devastate Florida...then CA starts getting earthquakes...now Mt. St. Helens is erupting again!?

Definitely sounds like this is a lighter eruption - mostly steam and ash...no lava even seen yet. Hopefully it'll stay that way!

Been watching news about Mt St-Hellens on Discovery channel for the last few days...

Started as small tremors under the volcano earlier this week, now it's steamin and all... check out the volcanocam http://www.fs.fed.us/gpnf/volcanocams/msh/

Those of you who are old enough to remember the 1980 eruption will also remember the ashes and dust settling thousands of miles away from the volcano non stop for months. They'll also rememer the EVIL winters and crummy summers the next few years after the eruption... last time St Helens blew it seriously affected the weather for years in north america... bleah! don't need that crud again!

anybody hear of chain reaction type event that could happen as result from large volcano or earthquake? basically it would cause many of the volcanoes on the ring of fire to erupt all around the same time and like red said, the weather would dark and cloudy for a long time, possibly too long of a time, for the most part, no sunlight=no life....
