Functions in Excel
I'm not really very familiar with excel, so I need a lil bit of help.
I'm trying to make a graph of the function:
y=1-[ (1-x)^10 + 10x(1-x)^9 + 45x^2(1-x)^8 ]
and I want to vary x from 0 to 1,aka 0
If someone could give me some basic instructions, your help would be much appreciated.

take 2 columns and say 100 rows
in the first column and first row, A1 type 0. Go down one row to A2 and type =(A1+.01) and hit enter. .01 shoudl show up. Then click on the corner of A2 and drag the box down to A100. you should then have 0-1 in incriments of .01.
Goto B1 and type in your equation as =(your equation here) only substitute A1 for X
Again drag the corner of B1 down to B100...no you should have all your Y values
Now highlight A1,B1 - A100, B100 and hit the graph button, select the graph you want.
geez..im gonna go do it now lol
btw, there is probally a function button do jsut do it simply..this is jsut one way to do it.

Thanks Billy, got them perfect and everything checks out with the manual calculations too. I wish I knew more excel because I know it is very helpful for a wide range of things but I don't know of any ways to really get more familiar with it and its hard to figure some of these things out on your own.
Anyways, thanks again.
