    Don't some people piss you off.

    I am at the gym tonight doing my chest, I have warmed up on the bench press and decide to go heavier with the weight. So I go to 100kg (220lbs) which I have never really been able to lift before and ask a guy to spot me. I do three reps, well two good one and then on the third when I started to slow down a bit this guy just wrenched the bar away from me, which may have been a good thing as I was fading a bit but I probably could have racked it. So I feeling pretty good about being able to do 100kg, bear in mind a few months ago I maxed out at 72.5kg, so I say to the guy thanks and mention how that is the most I have lifted, the guy says back," thats a f**king warm up for me, mate" and walks off shaking his head.

    use that as fuel for the fire. dont get pissed over it because theres nothing you can do about people like that. the only reason i was succesfull in powerlifting is because i always had that mentality of them thinking "he aint sh!t", even after i got strong. i would pile up all the sh!t talk people had against me and the no support my parents gave me into what i do in the gym.

    Funny thing is, in all the time I have been at this gym, I don't think I have ever seen this this guy lift a weight. Oh well f**k him, It still is good to get to 100kg, next goal is 200kg

    lol man there's a guy like that at my gym.. I finally broke my record on incline.. and he came over and ripped me apart because I was an inch of my chest and didnt touch.. I cant even touch with just the bar..but anywayz I was doing more weight then him so he just had to find something to critisize me on.. sucks when a 20 year old with 2yrs of training is stronger then a 30 year old with 14 years and lots of cycles.. dont worry man you beat your previous record.. thats all that matters

    thats why you should lift with a girl... i cant curl the bar up, so coldstone has to really struggle to rack the bar, and i wont talk bad about any weight he does... cause i cant do 1/2 of it myself... WONDEFUL COMBO!

    Dude its funny.. but as your making gains he's probobly been lifting the same weight for years.. the people that benched 315 when i joined the gym 18+ months ago, still lift 315 with no apparent change.. so just keep in mind progress is always much more important then what ever weight you lift..

    Same guy did the same thing to me......I was doing seated rows and he jumped in and almost did twice as much as me. by the way he was tring to sell me gear! So I say Phuck the phuckers that try to make u feel bad bout urself!! WHEN you are bigger and stronger than him then u can be the one that will be doing the warm up sets with his max weight!! Keep up the good work and keep lifting!!
