I lovED the Yankees

I loved the yankees when i was younger because i live in the NJ/NY area. Then when i grew up i learned to hate them. Anyone else think these reasons are valid?

1. The yankees take the best player(s) from every other team and lately rarely get people from their own farm system.
2. There is no salary cap in baseball so basically the yankees can get whoever they want because they have more revanue.
3. You know they are always going to make the playoffs, its not even fun watching them in the regular season.
4. Steinbrenner will not allow facial hair other than a mustashe and you cant have long hair (what is this Nazi Germany?)

Some of their best players came out of their own system, jeter, posada, rivera,williams, el duque. And I cant happen to think of any of Boston's good players coming out of their system.. Not a one

Steinbrenner does what every other owner should do. He takes the bulk of the earnings from the previous year and puts in back into the team by buying better players, instead of taking the earnings and pocketing them like other owners. I personally feel that its sad that people are saying he shouldn't go out and get the best players, everyone else should do the same thing. Boston did the same thing the past few years, and this year they got good picthing instead of more offensive weapons like the yankees did.
