A name is the last thing to worry about.
Have you looked into putting together the cash?

have a counter for protein shakes and next to it have a counter whre you can buy all sorts of steroids . Jackman's fitness does have a nice ring to it, i'll bump it. You should have a seperate section for people who just like to sit on machines and talk, call this the "lounge" and have fake machines set up since they dont really work out they just sit, and have those machinetrolls hang out there.

"Physique Palace" or if it's a hard core gym call it "Anabolic Temple" or "Outlaws Fitness"

1moreset, you may want to consider talking to a business planning advisor. More than 80% of business owners fold in the first year. We do not need to have a gym go out on us. I work for a financial planning company in IL, and this is a strong consideration.

Gym name: (suburb name) Fitness

For sure. You gotta have a business plan AND a marketing plan.
As far as a name goes, I like Thor's, as someone else suggested, but you would be better off asking about 100 (I'm serious) of your potential customers what THEY think a good name would be, then use that.
Also, check out the SCORE people for expert (and free) business advice. They're on the net.
Good luck, and don't forget to incorporate . . .

Also misleading . . . most (if not all) of the 24 Fitness shops here in Dallas are not open 24 hours a day.

give discounts to local high schoolers and go around putting flyers on car windows in HS parking lots in the surrounding area. Break em in young!
