Hey guys

this is my latest desktop, notice that the bar at the bottom is slightly different, a nice more modern feel, also it now displays the day as well as the time. just installed media player 10 which is quite cool. just wanted to go for a modern crisp clean feel.

What do u think?

Yes i have no friends, i photoshopped the msn list. I dont actually have anyone on there

Press and hold Print Screen. your desktop will be copied to the clipboard, and then all you have to do is press Ctrl+V in your favourite graphics program and save the image.

I was running Fedore Core 2 but recently switched to Suse 9.1. I keep switching between it and WinXP though bc of lack of software like Acid and Cool edit/Sound forge for linux.

Isnt cooledit now owned by Adobe, they've renamed it i believe. If so, im very sure that Adobe will develop a Mac version

I don't know about adobe, but I know Sony bought out Sonic foundry. As far as the Mac I wouldn't know... I've never used a Mac

Was just thinkin as ure used to Linux, Mac is unix based so... about as close as you will get

That's true, didnt think of it that way. I'm still hoping Microsoft's next major desktop release will be an improvement over XP, which is in turn an improvement over Win98. Do you know when the next major release is due out? I heard something about 2007.
