Like it says in the title - a real letdown!
DeNiro is one of the few actors whose presence in a film is usually a sign that it's a winner, not this time! Don't get me wrong he was good, the script just sucked monkey balls.

One of my biggest problems with the film is: with films like this with a 'twist' (i.e. the fact that DeNiro is in fact trying to recreate his own fvcked up kid) if you think back over the film in your head it doesn't make sense. Let me explain, DeNiro worked in IVF right? - so he could have implanted his nasty little son's genes into any unsuspecting wannabe mother and not even told her, woulda been alot easier from his point of view. Also I hate movies where nothing is resolved at the end, leaves you feeling unfulfilled. To cut a long story short - IT WAS CRAP!
