This is the first weekend in dam near the whole semester where I dont have Army $hit to do. Last saturday we had a 9am planning session on a CQB house assault were gonna train on this tues. We had our dining-in last nite, which was crazy fun. Always a good time making fun of your cadre.

Im livin it up this weekend, just busted my ass at the gym, and now Im gonna eat and play battlefield 1942 all day till its party time tonite at my gf's apt.

Hell yeah, our new LTC was reely leery about letting the SF ranger CPT train us on this stuff. But its what all of us are gonna do in 1-3 years so why not start now?? (he was in Afganistan last year and tells us a lot of $hit that went down and how to react to it.) Hes showed us the book way and said F that, then showed us the real way of doin amubsh, raids, vehicles, and CQB stuff. Its an old abandoned farm house owned by the university. I hope I can kick the $hit out of a door or sumthin. Weve got like 10 opfor posing as arms dealers and buyers for the hit.

Yeah, I was opfor during the MSIII joint FTX last year. Me and another cadet dug a bunker and had a burp gun w/ two natty guard guys w/ us. We scared the piss out of the patrols when we opened up w/ the .50cal. That was a blast weekend. Sitting around eating MRE's then blasting blanks. The real thing must be such a rush.

it is till you see someone get hurt, then u get scared and life sets in, and you start seeing statistics of th amount of ordinance flying around you and your chances of not being hit... its more scary when its over tho...
