I had an '04 Grand Cherokee Freedom Edition, V8 traded on a new Durango with a Hemi in August. Jeep is better for off road. The motor has been around for a while and is reliable and nearly as powerful as the Hemi which to me is way over rated. I traded because I get more passengers in the Durango. 7 vs 5. I liked the Jeep better on rough roads and it was great in snow. They both hadve 7/70 warrenty.
