help ???!
I have to give a persuasive speech this afternoon. The topic is excersice and physical activity. Does anyone know how daily physical activity is recommended by the US gov?

no but encourage steroid use haha jj... type it google.. it should be easy.. Here in CA i think its 20-30 min 4-5 times a week

Ive tried searching in google. but i can't find it. I think ive heard it was like 30 mins a day but i just want to make sure..

LOL im giving a prosuasive speech today too.. except mine is on stem cell reasearch.. i have this nifty powerpoint persentation and everthing its UBER secksay.. then again i hate speech..

Well, US Govt, not really, but if its not too late, i could give a military viewpoint. MOST services (not talking about the people with jobs that require good physical shape such as special ops, etc) have a 1 hour a day, 3 days a week PT schedule. For most people on this board, it probably would NOT be enough to keep up with our conditions we are in now. But for those that do not exercise, its ok i guess to keep them active. Depending on age and gender, you can do a quick google search and get charts that break down what is needed at PT tests which I think are either quarterly or perhaps yearly for some services.
