    Good bodybuilding books

What are some good books on hypertrophy and nutrition. Iwant to have a methodical way of working out and not just go in and say 3 sets of 10 w/ this and 3 sets of 8 w/ this.... Iwant to go in w/ a scientific approach for building muscle and not go by what the biggest guy in the gyms routine is like. I have built a good bit of muscle on my own by reading the basics of working out but feel I should be further along and I feel it is b/c of my workout routine.

Not a book, but there's some decent stuff at abcbodybuilding. Just say away from the forums, they're worthless.

    Bodybuilding
    A scientific approach

    by Frederick C. Hatfield

This book can be found at wal-mart online, amazon, ect. do a search. I bought the book and it shows for example, heavy, light, medium days for each bodypart but not on the same day. Day 1 you might do heavy legs, but light chest, 2 days later Heavy chest, then 4 days later medium chest, 3 days later.... you get the point i am sure, I have not applied this yet, have not even finished the book, but I think this falls under what you are asking. SRH,

That's excellent news. I'm glad you like the books I suggested to you.

Stuart is amazing. I had the opportunity to chat with him and his publisher on the phone when I was trying to track down his book. Stu truly believes in what he has written AND he took quite a long time to talk to me about lifting and his book etcetera.

(I called him in Cyprus a few years ago when I had trouble finding any of his publications available in the USA. He obviously has since addressed that issue)

Keep me posted on how things go with you.
    Best of luck, bro.
