Should i moonlight as a doorman?

Well to cut a short story even shorter i met a friend of a friend at a club tonight. He works there as a doorman and offered me the opportunity of getting some work. It's very tempting but id have to get my licence first and I'm starting a job in january anway. The hours wont clash but im wondering how much of my free time it will eat up. Hmmmm money or no money . Im not a monter by any stretch of the imagination but i think it looks quite interesting and would certianly be an experience for me. I honestly cant decide. If any of you were to swap places with me what would you do?

You guys need a license to be a bouncer in the UK? The US should impliment that policy because we have entirely too many over weight/underpaid bouncers working clubs.
If you have the temperment for the job then go for it.
    Goodluck,

You would be crazy not to try it IMO. It can be a great experience or a crappy one depending on who you are working with and the place in which you work. If it sucks or you feel the job is not compensating you well enough for the risk you are accepting then quit. You never know how an opportunity will pan out until you give it a try.
