Ludwigs are pretty good. I have a set my dad gave to me when i was like 14, they are a very old set like from the 70's but i love them.
Premier do good kits, i played when i was a kid but stopped doing it years ago
I play drums for 6 years... I'd go for a pearl set for sure.
Tama is great, but I prefer Drum Workshop
