    lasers

who could hit a plane at 8000ft with a laser, the pilots are whining that they cant concentrate, they can when they are drunk, but when a tiny laser is in the cockpit, they might crash..pfft

I heard about that laser story on Fox News over the weekend. I just don't like the idea that idiots would actaully shine them on the cockpit. It is just unacceptable and anyone caught doing it should be arrested.

    Quote from the CNN Story:
    ***
Federal agents are looking into similar incidents involving lasers and aircraft, including cases in Cleveland; Washington, D.C.; Houston; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Medford, Oregon; and Teterboro, New Jersey.
    ***

Teterboro Airport is about 10 minutes from where I live. I heard on the news that a laser was shot over a nearby mall (Willowbrook for those of you from the area) and the pilot had to land in Teterboro. It's just freaky that these people are right here, they could be my very own neighbors.

flying would be cool if they gave all the passengers parachutes so they'd at least have SOME hope of surviving if the plane was going down

It's terrorism on a budget. Or they are just practicing for when they get their laser guided missiles.

Had to be from Jersey. Must be going for that worst speller/gramatical error tittle.

Oh yeah, and about making them out of rubber. Maybe like the nose on the '69 GTO? Nah, probably to be to heavy to fly.
