OMG.....well, I have to admit, that I do think of something like that happening to me the first time I go to a heavier weight without a spotter. That had to be painful, I bet he didnt lift for a while after that!

Ron...bro you almost had it!!! Man don't be down on yourself. I know it has been along time coming that you have wanted to get a plate up for a rep. Keep at it and with a little determination you will do it.

I thought the throaty gurgles were the best. That and the fact that the guy videoing didn't bother to help. Just kept on filming.

i think that was actually just shy of 3 plates.. i also think that this guy is now dead. It's likely that the camera was on a tripod.

i think if the guy survived, they would have just shown the whole clip of him getting out of that, but since they cut it off early, i would assume he didnt make it out being it was too graphic to watch the rest of. thats pretty tragic if he didnt make it out....anybody have the whole story on this? im curious as to the ending....

I think homeboy should ask for a spot next time...it looked as if he was in his garage or something...definetly not a gym. And the tape must have been on a tripod...any hillbille would know to go and help him...wait, I don't think a hillbillie would know to do that.....well if he did die...then god bless him.

Even if Mass(Ron's little workout partner) was spotting him standing on top of the bench he is still to short to rack the weight for RON.

You would think that since he was filming himself (assuming this wasnt the first time( he could see how bad his form is and maybe correct it?
