pretty even match but i would say segal soley on the fact that you don't know he is gonna kick your ace, he asks you how the coffee is then he breaks a pool stick over your back.

I saw an interview with Segal when he was popular and he called out Van Damme on national television...like Letterman or something. He called him a pussy and said he would kick his @ss.

Segal is one of, if not the first, round eye to teach aikido in Japan, he is the real deal and would waste the pretty boy.

I studied Aikido many years so obviously I am biased here...

I've no doubt Seagal would kick VanDumb's arse just based on what I know he can and can't do. Much of aikido looks fake and rehearsed until you've been on the receiving end of it.

I've seen many tapes of Sensei Seagal at his Dojo or at seminars and I've no doubt he can fight... now if only Seagal could ACT! That dude couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag if his life depended on it. He has the screen presence of a lump of coal.

My god... I cant beleive all the respect you people have for Steve Segal. I'm not sure if you guys have watched this movie but as you all seem to be big Segal fans Im going to guess that you have. "Fire down Below" was filmed not very far at all from where I live. A lot of filming was done in california to but I actually landed a spot as an extra in that movie and got to meet him, I was pretty young at the time 8th grade so go figure about age. As a mater of fact I was a body double for the sick kid in the bed he talks to at the very begining of the movie when he's working on that old beat all to **** house. They had my punk ass laying in that bed for hell and ever to get the lighting just right and everything. Getting back to the point I was trying to make..... this cat has got a gut on him he is not the least bit athletic looking or intimidating. I would have a hard time beleiving that he could pound vandam. They are both cheesy as hell tho.
