I used to have to get up at 2:00 am to get in an hour of morning cardio before I had to be at work at 5:00 am. I just forced myself to do it but also went to bed around 6:30-7:00 pm.

yup agree, but once u get inot a routine its no problem, make sure u get up at that time for a week straight and u'll b able to no problem after that. 530 is **** early tho

530am workouts for two hours then 18 credit hours and your own workout program for 15 weeks is totaly sweet. After a while you just become this work out machine and it doesnt hurt anymore. Eat, drink, lift, fvck...thats all you do.

The secret is going to bed the night previous early enough to allow 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. It is hard to go to bed at midnight and get up at 5am every day. It is a matter of planning, priority, and then habit. However, you've got to really want to change current body or you will just relegate yourself to being a fat slob like the other 90% of the population. It is not my intention to dog you. I am just saying being in great shape is not a right it is a privilege. One that you have to work very hard on daily by eating clean and completing your scheduled cardio sessions. Come on Bro, you can do it!

I was referring to the plethora of people who do little or nothing to improve their fitness. Of course, no AR members were included in my dig.....Hehe.

Irish.....I am feeling you man I have been doing morning cardio for the last week and man has it been hard not to hit the snooze button and go back to bed especially here in NY it is freezing and so cold feels good to stay under the covers........
But a very smart man on this board has stated this many of times and I live by it every day.....
" The willingness to change must be greater than the willingness to stay the same!!!!!"
Start the morning cardio bro once you get a week under your belt you will be set and melting the fat away!!!
Peace.........

OK this is how I motivate for AM cardio.......
1) Have the coffee machine programmed for 20 minutes before you wake-up alarm. The smell of fresh Joe will help a lot!
2) Look at yourself in the mirror.
3) Put on the soundtrack from "Conan the Barbarian" and crank it up.
4) Get on that Sumbitch treadmill and do it!!

SC.......... I understand what you are saying, you are married and have at least one child. Does that place any demands on your time? If so how do you balance them? It sounds gay but with all my kids (6) it is hard to find the "me" time. (my wife says that crap constantly) Bed time is 10-11 pm . I have sleep apnea which is a whole other topic but the bottom line is I am sleep deprived. The study showed I woke up 43 times an hour. How can this be overcome? I would appreciate your input.
