Imagine this situation
lets say you are the president of the unites states and also a father of a couple of children.
For some reason your childre is visiting china or russia and at the same time that they are there a war breaks out. You know that the only way to save america is to completely destroy the other country with nuclear weapons. But in doing so you doom your children.
Would you sacrifice your children to save millions of people in your country(assuming mutual assured destruction isnt certain and that you can completely crippel the other nations launch capability with a massive nuclear strike).

there was a lady in the area of the Tsunami.. she was trying to save her two children and realized she could let herself and the 2 of them die or sacrifice one of them.. she had to sacrifice one of them. I can not imagine how she must have felt

It was built for and to be used only by essencial personnel, meaning the bare minimum elected officials (less than a dozen), civil servants, police and military. All non essencial politicians and military brass are excluded... and for those who got in: ***Families not included***. Even the Prime Minister could not bring in his wife.
Talk about a hard decision...

It really is that simple in my mind.
