Yeah you'll have to get professional headhots taken.

You want them to pay for your pics... Otherwise your just paying them to take your pics and you wont get anything out of it except for a bill..

They will probably meet you and set up an interview and what not. If they are really serious about you they will pay for your headshots...
I dont know much about this just what ive heard from some other people... no personal experience..

hollywood..
here's the skinny..
if you have the look that the agency is looking for...they will pay for the pics the day you walk in the door..
that is they will have thier own photo guy take the shots..
they own them, and you can buy them from the agency.. but don't.. they will only take the pics if they have some one they want to send you to..
that is print, or runway..
learn to walk, but it's not necessary.. be careful.. most want a max 48"chest for most modeling.. they are looking for that chiseled look..
hometown boy.. depending on your age.. not weird haircuts, or tats..The answer to your every question

It's alot harder to get into than you think, and the money is not as good as you may think(it can be, but initially it sucks) I went to a modeling convention last year where I was scouted by an agency. They were interested in me, but told me that they couldnt do anything with me until I got my chext bigger and abs better. So I set out to do that and within a year hadd put a solid 3 1/2 inches on my chest and abs were def in. Also, I went from 206lbs at around 8% bf up to 225lb at 7.5% bf. I made huge changes within the past year. Just met with them a few weeks ago again, been emailing pics for the past year staying in touch. The guy made it sound like I was exactly what he was looking for. I drove 3.5 hrs to meet with him excited that something was going to happen, but this time they told me my skin wasnt clear enough. It's ****ing bull****. I have minor acne on my back, you cant even see it when you zoom in with the camera. I told the dude"you mean to tell me that all the fitness model guys have pertfectly clear skin on their backs?" I doubt that, I've been in the game for too long. So now they want me to go to the dermatologist and also take theater classes as well. He thinks he may be able to use me for commercial stuff. But when I stop and factor in all of the money I've spent on tanning, anabolics, food, traveling, hotel, photographs, etc etc, even if I got 10 modeling jobs it would hardly pay off what I've put into it. Also, if you pay a photographer to take your photos, they are yours, if he takes them for free then he has the copyrights to them. Therefore, you could end up on some homo site and not even know about it. Bingo, he's made his money and your left with a bunch of lies and deciet.(this has never happened to me BTW, but I know what can happen) Get ready to hear alot of lies, hype, and critiscism. Give it a shot, just keep your eyes open and dont fall for everything they tell you.

Quite a few high school kids get free senior pictures just allowing the photographer to display the pictures in the gallary of thier shop.
My advice,
Don't ever be scared to ask.

I'll let you know within the year.

Hey I did modeling for a while. The only advice that I could give you is that not to pay for anything. If they want u to pay for anything it is not worth it. If they want you that bad they will pay for everything that you need. I wasted about $500 on negative pics, which I still have. I got no where. I would love to model again but it is to hard to find a good place. My lifes dream was to be a runway model. But I am to short. You have to be 5"10 with no shoes. I am only 5"6. It sux...... And do not go to a place called "hollywood images" they suck big time......
