    drinking ages

    most of you are from america and the drinking laws are 21,over here in the uk there 18.
    that must be crap , your an adult when your 18.does that mean you cant go to a club till your 21?
    also can you"s drive a car at 16 yrs old?ares is 17,16 is just crazy.

    Yea i like how i am considered responsible enough to join the military and handle a fire arm, and possibly die. but i cant have a beer.

    In canada it's by province...

    In my province (Quebec) the drinking age is 18, though it's not enforced very well... as long as you "look" 18 you'll be able to get into almost any bar or club and you'll be able to buy alcohol at the corner store.

    yea 21 in the states. 16 to drive. 18 to vote. 25 until your car insurance significantly drops in price.

    we caught the total shaft on the whole age things.............ive seen way too many people have to change majors in college and completely have their future careers go up in smoke for getting caught at a party drinking some beers under 21

    its a bit ****ed up i think 16 is far too young to drive even at 17 theres a lot of silly kids behind the wheel.
    its 16 for a motorbike over here under 125cc,dont tell me its 14

    here in montreal u dont even have to look 18... I had friends working in corner stores that would sell to me when I was 15.

    And for good reason...cause you silly twits will run into each other behind the wheel. Psysch, the armed forces will drive you right up too want needs killing....easier that way......at least that's how the goverment looks at it.

    Just stay away from the stuff.....that's what I do.

    Driving=16
    Gambling=18
    Voting=18
    Military=16-18

    First time drunk 10 or 11
    First time driving 7 or 8 (out in the country with my father)
    I dont gamble much and I dont vote (referendum my A$$)

    im doing a paper in gov. right now, well we had to pick a bill and address it to the class, etc. i picked lowering the drinking age to 18..peace

    Drinking=18 (until few years it was 16)
    Driving car= 18
    Driving some bikes=14
    Voting=18
    Military=18

    yeah under a certain CC u can ride bikes here to but I never bothered getting the liscence I had no time.

    in the military, if you are 18, you can drink on base, but not in reg civilian life.... unless they take ur military id cause they dont know where to find the birthday haha
