For the wine drinkers.. Question for ya?

I have been looking around for a good wine of the month club. They are all at least 30-40$ a month.

Would you be more interested in getting 2-3 bottles of wine for 30-40 a month or 1 bottle for 30-40$ a month? How about getting 1 bottle for 15$ a month? so instead of 350-450/year it would be 150$/ year including shipping.

I'd rather try several different cheapo bottles for 30$ a mont including shipping than just getting 1? the quality might not be as good, but at least you could try a bunch out, instead of just 1?

    Thoughts?

I would be interested in getting four cases for 5.99 a month, provided it won't make me go blind

Seriously though, I can find decent wine for 3-6.00 a bottle, and there is a lot to choose from at that price. Do ya think you would do something like that?

If i were into wine i'd definetly do it, but i'm not someone who drinks to enjoy the taste of things, infact i hate the actual act of drinking, not a fan of the taste. I only drink to party, so wine really isn't for me.

Honestly, i think it's a good deal if you're into it, i say go for it.

Good wine can not be cheap. You could buy a young wine and wait 4-5 year before it will mature. It could save you big bucks

Speaking of wine I was at a wine tasting thing a few months back (stupid but i was invited, even though I don't drink) Anyway the guy running it comes up and asks us if we want to try this blah, blah, blah $20,000 a bottle the rarest whatever. I politley said no thanks. He looked at me as if I were Satan himself. The look of disgust was incredible, he wrinkled his nose and me it was priceless.

Try California Wine Finders...I have belonged with this club for several years and it's great. I get two bottles of the same variety of wine from two different wineries in California each month. It costs around $25, which includes shipping. You can decide if you only want whites or reds...I get both. I keep track of the wines I like and then every so often they have a sale, and I will order a half case or case for around $6-7/bottle. It's a great deal. I have only had a few that were bad in the years that I have been a member. Anyway, it also depends on the laws regarding shipping of alcohol in your state. I'm in Ohio, and there is no problem. I tried getting a gift subscription for a family member in PA, and they said that they weren't allowed to ship to PA. Check it out...
