Hail to the KING baby! 30 year hotdog record broken!
I am now the official Hot Dog King of Charlie's Pool Room in Alpha New Jersey.
The 30 year standing record was 16 dogs with "secret sauce" in an hour and 54 minutes. I did 17 in and hour and 33 minutes, and i may even have been able to get down 18. I didn't wann risk puking and losing the title so i figured i'd stop at 17. Next year i will try to break my own record and get 18 or 19.
20 would be nice but i don't think it's humanly possible. 20 regular dogs sure, but this secret sauce is a killer.
I posted before about this, after my first attempt 2 months ago or so. I got down 13 and a half.
I have now a perfect formula for eating hotdogs.
I broke the record yesterday which was the 30 year anniversery of the day it was made.
Many went down yesterday to break the record. they even had news reporters there and stuff. unfortunetly i wasn't there for that cuz i had to go after work. They old King was there watching the challengers and talking to the reporters. The most anyone got was 14 down, by a man by the name of "House", a 5'9" 350 lb fat ass. I was worried about him cuz they said he had been ordering 20-25 dogs with sauce a week for several weeks, but they were to go, so nobody new how many hed pounded down. Not 17 i guess!
He also had me worried cuz I got word at work from a friend of a friend that he pounded down six in five minutes. That had me concerened. But as it turns out, i ended up doing the same thing. I averaged less than a minute per dog for the first 7.
Well, im sure that sucks for the old king. He went home prolly feeling good after all that hype and watching people fail. And i'm sure he was relieved that his thirty year record was not broken and that his wife could still call herself royalty(which she does). But then I come along and SMASH it! Hahahaha!!
So i guess if his wife sill wants some "royal hotdog" she can come on over to my place!
