How in the HELL did Wilt Chamberlain score 100 points in an NBA game?

I was just thinking about this last night while watching ESPN news when Allen Iverson scored 60 points. Then they went on to show that Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points by HIMSELF in an NBA game? Now some teams can't even score 100 points together in a single game so how the fukk did he do it by himself?!?! Did he just get his teammates to give him the ball every single time and never missed a shot during the game? Did anybody ever see that game? Just curious on how it was accomplished because it seems so far fetched to me when it is hard for some teams as a whole to score 100 points much less a single person. What you bros think?

There is no videotape of the game as it was never televised. However, there is still the radio broadcast that exists.

Well, 25 pts a quarter is pretty do-able. Rare, but do-able. Repeat that rare feat four times and you have yourself a 100 point performance.

Chamberlain was freakishly tall for his era and I'm going to make the assumption that most of his points came from high percentage shots in the paint during the 100 point game. He was hot, nobody on the other team could come close to guarding him and like Gants said, the game may have gone into OT. I would say his 100 point game is the most ridiculous performance in the history of professional sport. Didn't he average like 50 points a game that season?

He was a great player and it also helped that he was 7'0" tall and the guy gaurding him was like 6'6" he was a big man before big men started playing the game. at one point in time they actually outlawed the "DUNK" because no one could stop him. Wilt and Bill Russell changed the game into a big mans game.
