surpirsing being from arkansas.....i live in orange county, and more people dip than you would think. almost all of my friends dip on a daily basis.

its **** expensive to dip so much though, If its late at night I sometimes have to pay $7 a tin at 7-11, i think its the most expensive where i live though....

a can per day. i tried to quit late last year with NO success- been dipping for about 13yrs now... when i tried to quit, i went from cope to red seal- thinking i wouldnt enjoy it as much and help me kick it... nope, now i'm just running through a can of red a day...
and its **** expensive here in tx, about $5 per can for cope....
i hate being addicted to something.... stop now if you can

yeah thats what everyone says, but out of my entire friends circle, only me and my old roommate/workout partner dip. all the smoekrs say its so gross,,, kinda weird.

About how much I pay a tin/can.. when I bought some yesterday I paid 6.25$ for TWO (2) cans of skoal wintergreen. but that was a hell of a deal, buy one get one free thing. most of the time its 3 bucks a can of timberwolf

Used to go through about a can 1/2 a day but the college lift has changed my habits, now its just about 4 a day after every meal and before I got to bed, I don't care if its ten minutes I gotta have one before I go to bed, wish i would have never started, but 10 yrs have came and gone, with only once trying to quit.

For all you guys thinking about quitting, have any of you tried nicotine gum? It works in a very similar manner to dip. You chew it for 5 miniutes and then tuck it b/w your lip and gums just like dip. Helped me to quit. I've been chewing regular gum ever since I quit the nicotine gum. Worked for me.

I go through about a can every two weeks....been cutting back for some time now to try and quit. Good luck on stopping, with it having the most nicotine in it it's going to be rough.

I can put a dip in and leave it all day.

Skoal is 4.19+ tax where i work plus i get 50% off with the press of a cash register key .... so i pay around 2 bucks for a can of skoal.

im not trying to quite any time soon, but i know that if i wanted to stop i could do it cold turkey... i mean i like doing it for a few reasons..it helps me relax, it keeps your metabolism fast, and its just something to do..
i like dipping a lot of different brands and i KNOW your gonna laugh when u hear this, but SERIOUSLY, skoal apple gives me the biggest buzz out of every kind of dip ive ever tried..lol i know it sounds pussssy, but it just works for me for some reason..??

If you like skoal wintergreen then try Grizzly wintergreen longcut. Taste's exactly like S winter but it only cost's $1.58. Also Grizzly makes a fine cut that is exactly like Cope...they even marketed it that way till Cope sued them.
Right now I'm chewing HUSKY wintergreen (made by skoal) 99 cents a can...Cant' beat it.

ya i keep my unopened cans in the fridge.. ive seen it done b4 in stores, so i just do it.. im not really sure why because i know i will use it up b4 the expiration date

I think it might keep it fresher, I know people that even keep their smokes in the fridge

Surprising being that your from Arkansas.

I went to the U down there and that is where I got hooked. We use to pour a shot of vodka in a tin, let it soak in. When a class was boring, fire a lipper and you were flying in no time.
