Well you read the political board, wouldn't YOU say my views have changed!.

Nothing like the benefit of experience to being you into the real world. When I was growing up my attitude to jew's, blacks, gypies, gays etc were mostly influenced by my racist father. Among other things he's a holocaust denier (sp'ing), hates Blacks (and has probably never met one). He despises gays, again has probably never met one, since he doesn't work and has no social life and for as long as I remember its always been the same.

I thank my years in the military for making me the well rounded person I am today. My kids will never heard me speak bad of any minority like my father did. Yup, their growing up in a much happier place today. I'll never knock my military experience for the life its given me and my family.

Sorry bro, you're right, reading a lot of the stuff you post I should have known that answer already.

I grew up in rual Mississippi around lots of white suprimasists...when I was younger I went along with it so as to be a part of something.....but around the age of 16 I started to change my opinion (a couple of life altering events happened at that time). Hence the reason I'm far to ashamed to even type, much less say the actual words of what I'm ashamed of doing.
