Never really got into the les paul, i got fat fingers, so i need a wizard like neck.
No thanks man try ebay
No doubt gibson les paul. My favorite guitar I ever had was a gibson les paul studio. Got it for only $1200 with a hardshell case at guitar center.
I dont know anything about guitars but a buddy of mine just gave me a bc rich bitch to sell for him on e bay. Its in good condition im my eyes with one knick. If your interested i can send you pics and maybe some info on it. I havent put it on the bay yet im waiting on him to give me some specifics on it.
I've got a strat too. go for the gibson for sure.
I think you should play both on an amp just like yours or similar at a guitar shop. The gibson will have a flatter board, great for slide work and sounds like a... gibson les paul. The paul reed smith is a bit more like the strat neck but nicer, you can also get a tremelo on the PRS and it sounds like a... PRS. Play both for comfort both are nice.
Listen everyone that looks at this thread and wants to sell a guitar... an Ibanez or a b.c. rich is not even close to the ballpark in terms of sound and quality. Sorry.
Haha. I find that funny, the Ibanez part. Les Paul good for one style, Ibanez better for the rest.Quote:

Ibanez guitars are quality guitars bro. I play a jacskon SL-3 with a floyd rose. That thing shreds. But I would go with a PRS. I've played both, and like them, but I prefer the sound of a PRS. But either way, you can't lose.Quote:

That's true. Other than that shiny chrome, it's a nice guitar. But that finish would blind the hell outta me!!Quote:

Ibanez is for the masses... Kids just learning... Great starter guitars though. The steve vai is the only one that I know of that even has decent quality control. They were one of the first with 7 stringer, ala korn.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO....PRS= better clarity and tone, lightweight and better looking.
Gibson Flying V Randy Rhodes addition
I like the PRS models, good weight, nice all around..Les Pauls are more a mestique guitar...I have an older gold top and love it.
