Coolest Toys when you were a kid!!!
Another post about he-man toys reminded me how cool it was back in the day to play with simple toys. Today everything is so high tech. Some of the old school ones still exist though. I guess i am getting old. At work we would talk about things from back in the day that were just so cool you had to have it for christmas. I was born in 77' . Here are some of the cool things when I was kid. anybody remember some others from the early 80's.
1. He-man
2. lite brite
3. etch a sketch
4. clothes.. Underoos, were the shiznit. you would walk outside in them like you were the man in Hulk underwear!!!
5. micro machines cars
6. legos
7. Night Rider

Pfffff....
GI Joes & Army Men
I'd string floss across my room so they could 'zip line' into action.
What was the little Navy SEAL GI Joe's name...? He was my fav.

Gawd... modern GI-Joes, ninja turtles... you bros are young pups!
Was big a$$ steel tonka trucks when I was a kid (bloody steel on them was as thick as on a 72 Olsdmobile!) and old school full size and bearded GI-Joe with Karate-chop action and flexing bicep (folks in their mid 30's will remember that eh?)
My favorite was my Tonka fire truck (scary thing is that over 30 years later I still have the tonka fire truck, dump truck and grader... my kid and I still play with them on the beach at my country house).
Me a "few" years ago when I got my fire truck and the box in my hands is a massive "GI_Joe Helicopter".
