I had the opportunity today to go to the courthouse to hear some child support cases etc. as i currently work in Child Support. So i am sitting there in the court room, saw a few cases, listened to the judge crack jokes etc...
All of a sudden there is this huge commotion outside the court room, it sounded like thunder or the building was coming down (literally) and i heard someone yell and i figured it was some rednecks out there raising hell and fighting, well it turns out some man was in the other court room and was in contempt and was about to be jailed so he decides to look at the bailiff and then take off running, the bailiff gave chase and it turns out that the noise was the 60+ year old bailiff falling down a huge flight of stairs while chasing the suspect.
The bailiff is all busted up, bleeding from his head.... of course they call an ambulance for him, the suspect i am not to sure about, as far as i know he ran and got free but no doubt will be picked up and body slammed by a young officer when the time comes.
So that was my excitement for the day thus far, thought i would share.
